Moscatel Vermouth from Terra Alta is made with 100% Moscatel grapes, aged for 5 years in French oak and lightly sweetened with mistela from the same variety. Aromatised with thyme and lavender, it stands out for its elegant style where the wine takes centre stage, with the character of an aged Sherry.

Its sweetness comes from the Moscatel grape, providing aromatic expression both on the nose and palate, with a clean finish.

Nose: a balance of delicate aromas presenting an elegant and atypical aged white vermouth. Notes of French oak reveal long ageing, with hints reminiscent of Sherry. Aromas of herbal apothecary, wild flowers, tobacco, and shelled nuts emerge over a fresh, lightly citrus and fruity background.

Palate: controlled power and deep complexity. A smooth entry with present acidity, followed by a rich and expressive development where herbal notes support rather than dominate the wine character. A dry vermouth with gentle sweetness, showing notes of honey and apricot. The finish is finely bitter and silky.

Finish: a highly gastronomic vermouth, ideal both as an aperitif with oily fish and smoked products or cured cheeses, and as an accompaniment to broths, mushrooms, rice dishes such as risotto, steak tartare, and nuts.
