Dos Déus Dip, 15% vol., is an extreme vermouth, inspired by Islay
whiskey and American bourbon. A vermouth with strength and
as diabolical an edge as the DIP, a dark infernal wolf-like beast
that terrorized the villagers of Tarragona, and that was believed
to suck the blood of its victims.
Made following the Scottish distilling tradition of toasting the plants using charcoal smoke and organic peat, which serves to dry the plants and add flavour to them.
Blended with Priorat wines to produce a new vermouth.
Refined using the Tennessee bourbon method, leaving the vermouth to rest in new, extra-toasted 200-litre American oak barrels.
To enjoy on its own with ice or in cocktails.
Nose: Intense with caramelized, smoky and iodized notes.
Palate: Notes of liquorice, cinnamon, candied pear, smoky and toasted notes, very complex and pleasant on the palate.
Finish: Long with smoky notes on a background of caramelized fruit.
